The sea salt is from the west coast of South Africa, which is washed by the nutrient-rich waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is rich in trace elements and minerals, making it one of the most desirable salts in the world. The peppercorns are Sarawak from Malaysia. They are steam sterilised in a high-temperature environment.
The salt and pepper is packaged in 70ml recycled glass bottles. The grinder is made from black Acetyl and each bottle has a tamperproof-seal with perforated opening. The low branding on the label makes them ideal for table use. The packaging is also re-usable: screw off grinder, refill and reuse. Each bottle is marked with a ‘Best Before’ date and a batch code, to ensure that the ingredients can be traced back to the suppliers. As an option, the salt and pepper grinders are available sealed together with shrink-wrap.
